Paintball
If you fancy something a bit different for your hen or stag party, how about having
a combined battle of the sexes? Paintball is a fast-moving and exciting sport in which a group of adults can relive their childhood by playing a game which is a cross between hide and seek and cowboys and Indians.
Paintball is played in over 40 countries by men and women of all ages and has now arrived in Cyprus. It’s played in a safe and fun environment with competent, trained referees who are there to help and guide first-time players. There are three fields
to choose from, the first being a ‘rec-ball’ field, the second, more extreme ‘speed-ball’ and the third 'urban-ball' field.

Speedball:
In this game the objective is simply to eliminate the other team. This can be done
by marking (shooting) all the opposing players.

Capture the Flag:
One flag game: Two teams start from two different bases with the objective
of defending their own flag and capturing the opponents’ base by taking their flag.

Attack and Defend:
A classic and popular scenario where one team defends a specially modified bus in the rec-ball field and the other team tries to capture it by eliminating all the opposition. This scenario is often spiced up by introducing props like hostages and paint grenades.

All players must wear masks which are provided.
Gloves, cover-alls and snoods, and padded vests can be hired.
There is also an area for game viewing.

FunBuggies

Enjoy the thrill and witness some of the most breathtaking scenery and views whilst travelling along the beautiful and rugged Paphos coastline. It’s only when you’re sitting behind the wheel of a FunBuggy that you fully understand their appeal. They are remarkably easy to drive with a fully automatic gearbox. If you can drive a car, you can certainly drive an FB. So where else could this be more fun than sunny Cyprus? The Akamas Peninsula’s terrain is the perfect test for man and machine! Unlike quad bikes, FunBuggies are a much safer prospect as you are protected and not the machine with features to enhance your protection and comfort.

We will take you through Coral Bay and up to the magnificent Sea Caves (cameras and swimming apparel a must). Then on to the pretty fishing harbour of Agios Georgios whilst admiring Geronisos Island and a chance for a dip at one of the many beautiful bays along the way. Then onto the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula, famous for its migrating birds, wildlife, vegetation, limestone and volcanic rock formations and exquisite wild flowers. We continue up to the Lara restaurant for light refreshments and then proceed to Lara Bay, home to the protected loggerheaded turtle where, during the summer months, the green turtle uses this isolated and deserted beach to nest. Golden sands and crystal clear waters make Lara Bay a favourite spot for the locals. With any luck, you may even catch sight of the moufflon, the wild goat antelopes of the Mediterranean which are very rare. Cyprus Airways has adopted them as its emblem!
