The rider and pillion rider of a motorcycle (over than 50cc) and autocycle (less than 50cc) must always wear a crash helmet when travelling on any road (fine is 50.00 Cyprus pounds).

The rider of motorcycle and autocyle may carry only one person over 12 years old, sitting astride behind the driver's seat.

There are some areas where it is forbidden to drive racing motorcycles between 12:00 AM - 04:00 PM and 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM. They are usually tourist streets in all coastal holiday resorts. These areas are signed.
